Hmm Interesting?

Ok well I was testing my PC at PCpitstop.com (This is a safe site to browse right? Seemed cool to me)

Anyway, When results were done it came back that Windows, Memory and Drive had minor problems, Memory was running at 4300 KBs per sec when normal for my perforance was 6400Kbs per sec, Windows Had a problem of 93 % CPU Load.

It gave me a detailed list of some optional things I had disabled or enabled, I had Hibernate Enabled it suggested I disable it (Really what is it good for...) I Rebooted, ran a new scan and test came back way improved with no problems...And free'd up 1 gig off my HD. Possible Hibernate was slowing my PC down?

 

As far as I know all hibernate does is reserve disk space equal to your ram. so if you have 1g ram it saves 1g disk space to hibernate.

Slowing down your pc... I would have to say no.

P.S. If you didn't ever use hibernate, you can be happy you freed up that gig on your harddrive right... and that is always a good thing.

 

As far as PCPitstop goes.......yes it's safe, been using it for years & I've never had a problem.

We do need alot more info if we are to help you correctly. We need something similar to what I have in my sig ( bottom of this post ), you can get this by running Everest Home.

There are a ton of things that can make your machine run slower.
