Custom titles used to be fairly rare, and not asked for. I had something like 3000 posts before mine showed up.

but i did say I didn't want one( that was my downfall)
and advising others to be weary upon asking. . .

I asked for mine. I noticed that a lot of people were getting special titles and thought I'd like one too. I don't post that often, well recently I have, and it would take me years to earn a special title just for posting thousands of times.

Begging, whining, and yelling doesn't get you what you want and often gets you the opposite. That's what I often tell my 4 year old and my 2 year old. I think it applies here as well.
