    A friend asked me to look at his computer because he was getting Popups every time he uses Google Chrome.

    I am at a loss as to how to fix this. I have downloaded Malwarebytes and ran the scan. It found like 30 pop up pups that I quarantined but it keeps popping up with the adds.

    Most of the adds are for Macafee Anti Virus, or Add Blocker. A few pop up saying I have 3 viruses or 5 viruses.

    Can anyone help with this issue?

    Thanks much......

    I am trying to do the next steps in the instructions but I am unable to download MGTools. Nothing happens when I click on it.

    Please allow ADW to remove these:
    PUP.Adware.Heuristic C:\ProgramData\63245952
    PUP.Optional.Legacy C:\ProgramData\TotalAV

    Then rescan with ADW and attach the new log.

    Please hold off on MGTools until you complete the RogueKiller, MBAM and Hitman logs.

    Use RogueKiller to remove these:

    [Tr.Gen (Malicious)] (folder) 63245952 -- C:\ProgramData\63245952 -> Found
    [PUP.PCProtect (Potentially Malicious)] (folder) TotalAV -- C:\ProgramData\TotalAV -> Found
    [Tr.Gen (Malicious)] (folder) UBlockPlugin -- C:\ProgramData\UBlockPlugin -> Found

    Once done, rerun Rogue and attach the new log and please tell me how things are running. I would suggest you stick with Windows Defender,
