    Hello,

I keep getting an error message every time I try to download something.

It says the file had a virus and was deleted.

    A friend suspects a rootkit?

I have attempted all the methods via this link

    https://www.techsupportall.com/file...emR4Ek6qYmTN3Ml_0k46tBvggNbYFNoZyDGZFhtbm4fx0

    with no success.

Attempted full wipe and restart but my laptop says it does not have enough memory to complete the task. The C (?) drive is full with nothing else I can delete.

There are no precious files on the laptop.

Laptop hasn’t been used in two years. Now desperately need it for online distance work while I look after a 4 month old and my partner is in hospital having chemo 60 miles away!

    Any advice gratefully received.
