Unable to double click/open anything on my pc

    something has happened to my pc and im unable to double click anything to run it....even in safe mode...timer comes on briefly then nothing happens...

    What can i do, i have a laptop here so im able to access the net and hunt for info, but cannot find anything...please help

    This may or may not be a malware issue. When and how did it start? What had been done on the PC prior to this symptom showing up? Was any new software installed? Any updated? Any downloads?

    Instead of double clicking, try using Right Click and select Open. Does this work?
