What's everyone playing?

Played it, own it, not impressed.

But, friends who played it loved it.

some like the world pve, i dont. some like the pvp, i dont. Some like the pay once format, i agree.

I think the art, while stylized is lazy.

Im not a big fan of static backrounds, ever. Just seems lazy to me.

Crafting seems pretty involved, and i do actually like that.

Like the idea of my own storyline but in practice it seems like if you dont have a party and try to solo, dont bother.

This is all beta feedback, may change with live game.

Hated Gw1, dont hate GW2 so far, just not a big fan of the style, or pacing of the game.

 

They just have a hard time accepting that you're better at the game than they are. Feel free to point that out to them, in a sweetly sympathetic voice, while you sincerely reassure them that it really doesn't make them any less of a man. :innocent

I don't own any racing games, on account of not enjoying them when I try to play them

Just got the email from sony,

Vanguard just went F2P.... argh. There goes my free time. with that and SWTOR going F2P in the fall, mmos just got fun again.

plus been playing borderlands with my guildmates, ROCKIN good time.

 

Ah, looking forward to, borderlands 2, Guild wars 2, WoT 8.0, new WoW update. Ugh, to many games, just one person.

 

Playing MW2, again. Always fun to go back to that.

Waiting on Ratchet and Clank Collections. My brother might pre-order it.

Would love to pre-order Boarderlands 2 LOVED the first one, but don't got the cash for it at the moment.

Dug into the Atari800Win emulator for some Pac-Man, Pitfall, and Robotron:2084 before bed. Maybe some Resident Evil on the epsxe tomorrow night, or some Ace Combat.

Also, I'm rolling through Super Mario Galaxy with my nephew. Now, THAT'S BEEN FUN!!

Still waiting for an Ace Combat title for PC, but I'm not holding my breath...

I've been playing Rift since launch, and still really enjoy it. Looking forward to the xpac in Novemeber.

 

Another reason I want to try Win 8.

Not playing much really, got my practical exam next week. Should study.

I've been back into Fallout New Vegas, modded the crap out of it :-D

 

Done with WoW, SWTOR and probably Tera.
I recommend each if you like MMORPG's but like all games they have finite content. D3 was only good for one level, somehow the side scroller feel does not appeal to me. GW2 will be my next one or a replay of FEAR games.

 

At least with SWTOR, itll be free soon so if you like to play more than one toon, its got replay value with free

I play GW2, not a fan of the style of gameplay, but not a hater either. If it were p2p i would not be playing.

 

I was SO excited for SWTOR! I mean, I waited years as they kept pushing back the release date. I thought the interactive questing was cool and they did some neat stuff with companions, but it just never pulled me in the same addictive way that other games have. /shrug I stopped playing after 6 weeks tops.

Still, Imma mention again how good Rift is if you like MMORPG's.

 

I have a free copy of Rift, and i had a free 6 month sub because i reviewed it for a gaming website of my friends.

I think i still had 5 more months of free time before i stopped playing. I loved it at first but, like GW2, i fell out of love with the gameplay. But at least in GW2 you can get away from the hectic battles, Rift, not so much. then when the whole area gets taken over and your all by yourself, not so much fun either.

I loved the concept for sure, loved the graphics(best out there at the time it was released) but, for me, i just got bored with not being able to get around the zones unless partied up with at least a few people. I actually gave it a better score in my review that it seems like i would have, because i tried to look at it objectively.

Just wasnt my cup o tea.

 

Crysis 2, One of the best campaign missions i have ever played.

I've been playing Age Of Empires 3, I played it once before and didn't like it, but it was on sale on Steam for $7.99 down from $39.99, so how could I not buy it :-D

Turns out it's a great game, it's C&C Generals but old school :-D

 

Age of Empires 3 is fun! I've been playing Borderlands 2 and loving it! Anyone else?

 

2 of my friend's bought it, and I have my code for the pre-order stuff. Just need to buy it eventually. Can't rightly swing the $60 at the moment. :cry

 

Still into World of Tanks, bought the Collectors edition for WoW: Pandaria (so waiting on that), now I'm casually playing Torchlight 2.

 

I'm celebrating the release of Torchlight 2 by replaying the first one. Still love the ability to send your pet away to sell off inventory.

 

My granddaughter and I are Serious Sam fan(atic)s, so I grabbed the SS 1 and 2 demos just for S&G - what serious fun those things are!

Aside from games, I've been strumming on my guitars alot lately doing some serious thinking.

 

Just got paid last fri and bought BL2 and it is indeed fun. Still on the fence if its better than the first, but its definitely fun.

Thinking of buying Torchlight 2 but i got bored with 1 pretty fast, although 20 bucks is almost a must buy for a game ill prob still play at least a good 20 hours or so.

 

Still no Boarderlands 2. My friend has been busy and I haven't had time to go grab it. Maybe I'll have time to get it. Now that college is starting again, as for play time.........

 

Back to playing Eschalon book 2, really need to finish it before book 3 comes out in 2013.

Bought Torchlight 2, played it for a few minutes.

Got Dungeon Siege 3, nice graphics, gameplay is decent, thinking of getting another controller, definitely plays like a console game. Had played the demo, liked but not loved it so i used my 5 star points from work to pick it up, since it was essentially free.

Tried to give C9, a free mmo a shot, just didnt click with me.

Bought into the MOP hype, wish i hadnt now. NOt that its BAD, per se, but its pretty much exactly what i played in the beta(with a few tweaks that actually make the monk more boring so far than in the beta) and the monk starting area was pretty short. Ill probably get my monk up to at least 80 eventually since i still have a 6 month tie to WoW because of the Diablo 3 tie in i agreed to. (although i dont even play that anymore so eh.)

Im pretty sure when Malevolence is released in dec, (before that for those of us who backed its kickstarter, since we get the beta release when that far) will take up pretty much my whole game time.

 

I am playing, just flash games like Stick Cricket, Angry Birds, etc.,

I'm into "Uncharted." This series is one of my favorites with lots of action and a reasonable amount of puzzle solving mysteries. Highly recommended.

 

It's awesome. It feels like a blend of Deus Ex HR and the old Thief games, with a sprinkle of Assassins' Creed, in a setting that feels like a cross between Skyrim and Bioshock.

I've only played for a couple of hours, but so far, it's been very good. Smart gameplay that assumes I'm smart, and I like what I've seen of the plot so far.

 

Good to hear, looked awesome and interesting in the lets play i watched for sure.

and different and unique but yet similar so it seems to have a good base for sure.

 

It is definitely living up to the promises of the E3 demos.

Remember to hide the bodies!

 

Just started playing Age Of Conan Unchained. Altho i like the graphics i much prefere the twinking potential on Anarchy Online. I have spend/wasted (insert whichever) about 4 years playing AO. I just love squeezing in high ql imps into low level toons.
