    Welcome to Major Geeks!

You should have read all of the sticky threads. See Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!! This unnecessary post cost you more than another day of waiting time.

Is the below something you installed? Why does it run multiple times?
    C:\Documents and Settings\TIMMY\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe

Why are you running this PC with no protection software installed?

You did not put your system into normal startup mode with MSconfig as requested in step 1 of the READ & RUN ME. This may be part of the reason why you are still infected. You must do this immediately and then do the below.

Uninstall the below old versions of software:
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1
Viewpoint Media Player <-- should have been uninstalled in step 1 of the READ ME

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lphc50cj0ej8c] C:\WINDOWS\system32\lphc50cj0ej8c.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [inrhc10cj0ej8c] C:\WINDOWS\temp\.tt8.tmp.exe /CR=E08AC8ADEEC613C39E30C48EA611036BB7C7DD8C293ED446113BDBC16360D756BFEA4722F80F08ADF99D90B1E4EA3D2A15EB67E70046F6B2E6C0DDCB8F904593DEDA53488D404BF069ED2655BB2E7E5130D314DD1FF4EC
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: etmbyx - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\etmbyx.dll
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: uftqfw - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\uftqfw32.dll
O24 - Desktop Component 1: Privacy Protection - (no file)

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now we need to use ComboFix.
    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
      • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below quote box into it:
    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below
    Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixme.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

    Now run Ccleaner!

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • C:\ComboFix.txt
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

    Hey chaslang,

Sorry about the "bump", I never really knew what that meant (I'm a forum newb).

Yes, I downloaded the new Google Chrome beta but I'll stick to Firefox for now.

This is actually my first time catching a malware/virus. Through my many years I've never been infected until now, but I've definitely learned my lesson though.

I was unable to find the in HJT.
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [inrhc10cj0ej8c] C:\WINDOWS\temp\.tt8.tmp.exe /CR=E08AC8ADEEC613C39E30C48EA611036BB7C7DD8C293ED446113BDBC16360D756BFEA4722F80F08ADF99D90B1E4EA3D2A15EB67E70046F6B2E6C0DDCB8F904593DEDA53488D404BF069ED2655BB2E7E5130D314DD1FF4EC

    &

O24 - Desktop Component 1: Privacy Protection - (no file)

Everything else went well, when I restarted I did not see the screen saver anymore (I hope it doesn't show on my next boot up...), and no .reg errors either.

Thanks a bunch for the help!

    Delete the below file:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\kek.exe

Let me know if you have any problem getting this deleted.

If that file gets deleted, you can move on to the below final instructions because your logs will be clean.

It is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommed you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /u
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /u, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
      • Delete the C:\combofix folder from combofix (if it exists)
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    5. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    6. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    7. You can delete the C:\MGtools folder and the C:\MGtools.exe file. You can also delete the C:\MGlogs.zip
    8. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning steps in the READ ME for your Window version and see the steps to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    9. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

ive notice that ever time that i restart now, my window recovery console appears.

i believe this has to do something with a step in the combofix direction(where you drag the window recovery file over to combofix)?

is there a way that i can remove that?

No you don't want to remove it. This was done on purpose. It could be a life saver at some point in time due to either malware or Windows Operating System problems.

But if you really still insist on removing it, you can do the below but you better make sure you have a Windows bootable CD to fall back on if you ever need to get to the Recovery Console again.

    Removing the Recovery Console

    • Restart your computer, click Start, click My Computer, and then double-click the hard disk on which you installed the Recovery Console.
    • On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the View tab.
    • Click Show hidden files and folders, click to clear the Hide protected operating system files check box, and then click OK.
    • At the root folder, delete the Cmdcons folder and the Cmldr file.
    • At the root folder, right-click the Boot.ini file, and then click Properties.
    • Click to clear the Read-only check box, and then click OK.
    • WARNING: Modifying the Boot.ini file incorrectly may prevent your computer from restarting. Be sure to delete only the entry for the Recovery Console. Also, it is recommended that you change the attribute for the Boot.ini file back to a read-only state after you complete this procedure. Open the Boot.ini file in Microsoft Windows Notepad, and remove the entry for the Recovery Console. It looks similar to this:
      C:\cmdcons\bootsect.dat="Microsoft Windows Recovery Console" /cmdcons
    • Save the file and close it.
The above is based upon info fromhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/307654

I actually want to remove it because when i try to log into the recovery console, it says that i have a error relating to hardware(?)

Further, when i choose to show hidden files, the "\Cmdcons" is not present or cmldr & boot.ini.

Perhaps the recovery console was installed incorrectly.. i will try n reinstall it

I'm not sure where you are looking but boot.ini is definitely there. Without it your would not be able to boot into Windows.

i look around google about my problem and it says that it is an error/corrupted file. yea thats what i thought also...
my boot.ini is definitely somewehre and corrupted.

    all in all, thanks chaslang!
