change windows

I had changed my vista window on my loptop to XP pro.I lost the audio driver
what can i do to make it work
noe i have to use sound card outsider

 

Uhhhhhh.... how can we possibly help you unless we know the make and model of the laptop? I have noticed some of your other posts and all of them have been very vague and ambiguous. Please read the information in this thread and use the information for provide an informative, helpful post. It may take a bit longer to type up a "useable" post, but in the long run it will save a lot of time. If you had provided useful information in the first post, I could have provided your drivers in this post.

First, install the chipset drivers. You can download them from this link:

Restart the computer after the install has finished. Then install KB888111; it's the Microsoft hi-def audio update, also known as the UAA Update. You can download it from this direct link. Then install the RealTek HD audio drivers. You can download them from this link. Good luck! Let us know how it goes!

OK... I see you have Service Pack 3. I missed that the first time around... sorry. You'll need to follow the steps in this thread to temporarily "trick" the system into thinking that you're actually running SP2 while you install the drivers.
