microsoft one care and virtumonde

I got a infection of virtumonde by my little brother playing that gay kids game runescape. My computer imediatly attacked back and blocked most of its damage but it still prevented system restores and deletion and use of my antivirus program (norton corporate) and spybot regradless of how great it is did nothing. I found microsoft one care live online did find all peices and parts of virtumonde but could not fix all of it but did alot of good for my PC.

After using the live online version I downloaded the version that ran in the background. Restarted the PC after instaltion and went to more work it immediatly on start up found the remainging virtumonde infections and cleaned them. But One care in it self hogs all processes speed just about and is only good to use when you have a problem and unistall when you are finished. But I found that it has cleaned my PC of virtumonde and I no longer have any problems and everything now checks out fine.

Im not trying to spam anything for microsoft but I see alot of people in here asking about virtumonde and I know how hard it is to deal with. I may be new here but im just putting out what I found worked for me. More help into finding ways to get rid of this problem I know is needed that anything is good if it helps.

If anyone else has tried it has it helped you any? Like I said I had to run the live online version which literaly took about 12 hours to complete it all for the live version but afte the live version it will offer a free download of a full working trial version that last 30 days to run on the PC. Get it install restart with normal start up and just fallow what it finds and clean it. Its very slow but works. or for me it did. Then if your like me keep your brothers off your PC by blocking every F-ing game site the use.

 

I didnt mean to say that it would remove it. But it does do enough that I was able to scan using my normal virus protection (nortan corporate) and other scanners without them being disabled. And by scanning with those I was able to remove as much as possible through scans that I could manualy remove the files and directorys that where left.

I found this forum looking for help to remove the bug while I was waiting for other scans to finish incase they did help. But they did so I was leaving a note of worked for me. I will admit it was a hefty pain to get off but I made it through alive. Took a whole day of work and scans but my PC is running perfect again.

But I do belive in every way you can help anybody with sense enough to listen to remove virtumonde and just about anything else out there. From what ive read this is the place to go with PC trouble.

 

Well I agree that would be good. But I am very good with computers myself just my first time dealing with virtumonde. Its the onlything ive ever had get through my system.

Trust me I have scanned with your posted tools afterwords to check everything and im clean. Not a trace of anything is left. I do appriciate the support and help here though and do know if something does get outa my controll I can come here for help and get what I need.
