MGTools Question

Anyone in the world can view. Only authorized helpers can respond. You should read the Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!! sticky thread which explains our work process. Adding additional messages is a bump which cost you further delay. We are extremely busy and running 2 to 3 days behind in answers but all threads are answered.

MGtools does make changes to the registry. Some are to correct things that malware may have modified and we just set that back to proper defaults. A few are to made to insure that viewing of hidden files and folder options are set properly. And then a few other changes are made to fix bugs introduced by ComboFix. There are a few files that would be deleted if they were found but they are just malware files and they are almost never found by MGtools since the other scans that are supposed to be run before MGtools would have already deleted them. However 99.9% of what MGtools does is just collect and report information in the logs.

Why are you so worried about what MGtools is doing? The other scans from SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, and ComboFix are definitely going to make changes especially if malware is found.
