no sound in youtube

no sound in youtube but sound in my windows 7 media player :confused , have updated my flash player got all the codecs you need but still nothing , also tried a footy game i play and theres no sound from that , i thought it would have been an update needed but its not , any help would be great , thanks

 

What browser? Do you have your javascript enabled?

 

Firefox and yes

 

How about if you use IE? If that works, well, I don't use firefox so someone else would have to look at this.
Also, about twice a year I'll uninstall Java and then reinstall, rather than have all those updates piling up.
Worth a shot and a good practice anyway.
And it might help to get and run cCleaner, could be some temp file doing something

When you got rid of flash player, did you use the flash player uninstall tool?
