    I really need some help..

First of all, I have Windows 7.
I am in Safe Mode running SpyBot and it finds
"Win32.FraudLoad" - 6 entries MalwearC, and "fixes" it.
When I run SpyBot again after restart, it's there again.
This has happened about 30 times now..
    AVG did not find anything.
And SpyBot won't get rid of it.

When in NORMAL mode, it won't let me open much.
And it won't let me browse the internet, so I am using a different computer.

Please help me fix my computer.. What do I need to do?

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Please read ALL of this message including the notes before doing anything.

Pleases follow the instructions in the below link:

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.

    • **** If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. ****
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not. MGtools will frequently run even when all other tools will not.

    • After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!
    Helpful Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:

    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. If you cannot seem to login to an infected user account, try using a different user account (if you have one) in either normal or safe boot mode and running only SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes while logged into this aother user account. Then reboot and see if you can log into the problem user account. If you can then run SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, ComboFix and MGtools on the infected account as requested in the instructions.
    4. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:

Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.

I have been doing these steps but I am stuck on "Enable viewing of hidden files, system files and file extensions" I do NOT know what I am supposed to do. I am using WINDOWS 7 and you don't provide the steps for that in the link.

I do not have "Explore" in my start menu.
    Thanks!!

I am not running Win7, but you should be able to go to the control panel / click on folders / click the view tab and check show hidden files and folders.

You could have just kept going like the first instructions in the READ & RUN ME explain to do, but try the below.

Follow these steps to display hidden files and folders in Windows 7.
    1. Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button http://res2.windows.microsoft.com/resbox/en/Windows Vista/Main/4/f/4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33/4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.png, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
    2. Click the View tab.
    3. Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.

Yes you do. Try right clicking on Start.

Okay, I did that, turns out it was already set to show hidden items. But now, the Defogger isn't working. When I hit "Disable" and hit "Yes" an error shows "Unable to create log."

Let me repeat what I just said again and this is a direct quote from the very beginning of the READ & RUN ME
So just keep going and post back only when you finished try ALL steps all the way thru to the point of attaching logs.

I ran the scans. I am attaching the logs that came through.

    Here are some details::
Normal Windows mode is still not working correctly.
I cannot open programs, just nothing happens.
    Internet connection doesn't work.
Ran the broken network repair and ALL scans in SAFE MODE.
The scans would NOT work in Normal Mode.
Could NOT run RootRepeal at all, even in Safe Mode.
Got the error "FOPS - DeviceloContror Error, Error code = oxc0000024"

Here are the 4 successful 4 logs.

My computer is still acting the same after these scans.
I cannot "Locate the EnableUAC.reg file and double click on it to reenable UAC"

You have not antivirus protection nor a real firewall. Why?

You need to disable Spybot's Teatimer as stated in the READ & RUN ME. See this: How to disable Spybot's TeaTimer

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now we need to use ComboFix
    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
      • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Also make sure you have shut down all protection software (antivirus, antispyware...etc) or they may get in the way of allowing ComboFix to run properly.
    • If ComboFix tells you it has expired or need to be updated to a new version, make sure you allow it to update.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below quote box into it:
    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below
    Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

Now this is very important!!: You had/have a DNS infection which is part of the reason for your connection issues. You also had many other infections. The DNS infection can get into router hardware. If you have a router hooked up then you need to follow the instructions for your hardware and reset it to factory default settings. Normally there is a recessed push button type switch that needs to be held down for some number of seconds to do this. After resetting to factory defaults on your router, you will need to reconfigure the router for your network if you have made any changes to the default network setup.

Now run Ccleaner. Only use the Run Cleaner button. Do not run anything else on any other forms.

Now see if you can do the below in normal boot mode. If not, then finish this off in safe boot mode.

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista or Win7, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • C:\ComboFix.txt
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

(before, spybot wouldnt work so i was unable to disable the teatimer.)

Everything is working now!! I actually just went through all the steps again and then did what you said and now my comp is fast and clean and I have protection running. Thanks so much, I couldn't have fixed it otherwise.

Now, question, I want to keep AVG, Spybot, SpywareBlaster and windows firewall on. Is that too much?

Should I uninstall the other programs from the READ ME or just leave them?

do you still want the two log files, even though my laptop is good now?

    You're welcome.

You need to attach the follow up logs so that we can be sure everything was fixed. Yes even though eveything seems good, it is best to check.

The Windows Firewall is very poor as you will see when we get to final instructions which I cannot post until I see those follow up logs.

Covered when we get to final instructions.
