You should already know from your other thread that we don't want HijackThis logs and it would be of ZERO use in explaining why your PC is slow. Many slow PCs are not slow due to malware, they are slow due to system specs or a broken OS; however, if you suspect malware, the process is still the same as in your other thread.

Please read ALL of this message including the notes before doing anything.

Please follow the instructions in the below link:

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • **** If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. ****
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not. MGtools will frequently run even when all other tools will not.

    • After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!
    Helpful Notes:
    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. If you cannot seem to login to an infected user account, try using a different user account (if you have one) in either normal or safe boot mode and running only SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes while logged into this other user account. Then reboot and see if you can log into the problem user account. If you can then run SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, ComboFix and MGtools on the infected account as requested in the instructions.
    4. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated our system works the oldest threads FIRST.

then apparrently you never read the other thread! while waiting for support I went through the "read me portion" on my own and did not receive assistance until I had actually finished all the steps because I was unaware each time I posted a log following each step I was bumping my log. Had you read the end of that thread then you would have seen I was asked to post a new thread for My OWN LAPTOP. I understand help is free but no need to be rude about it. I only did what I thought was correct. A simple no you need to post something else would have safice

I read the thread. You did not read and follow instructions and you are the one being rude. The READ & RUN ME specifically states not to post HijackThis logs as we don't need them and they are of little use to us. When you were told to start a new thread for your other computer, you were suppose to run the READ & RUN ME and attach the requested logs and not a HijackThis log that multiple sticky threads indicate not to post. TimW even said:
All of the below stickies are posted for a reason and are required reading and not reading and following them is actually what we consider rude. Sorry if you don't like this but that the way all forums work.

You did not install, update and run the current versions of SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes. You are way out of date. You really should run the latest versions just to be safe. However it does not look like you are having malware problems. You laptop is slow due to what you are running and due to the fact that you do not have enough memory. You logs show
    Code:
    Total Physical Memory 512.00 MB
    Available Physical Memory 156.69 MB
We recommend an absolute minimum of 1 GB but 2 GB is preferred for current versions of Windows XP.

So did you miss the Trojan horse that was removed along with the adware. I think they showed up when I ran the Superantispyware? Thank you for your help please close my thread ill seek help from someone not so condescending. Just a thought if you are going to volunteer help perhaps you should work on your attitude. The versions that I have on my lap top were only downloaded a few months ago so I doubt they are that out of date. I may come off rude but you are suppose to help not critique. You re the guru and Im the novice but doesnt give you the right to be a douche.

I'm just giving you the facts. You did not install and run the current versions of the programs as we requested. If you look at that as condescending, well I don't know what to say. We need you to follow instructions and if you don't the result is that you may not fix any problems that you do have and we are going to point out that you need to run the proper versions of programs.

They are not the correct versions which means you did not download them from our links and in addition you did not update them to the current versions of the databases. As stated, you are way out of date.

    Thread closed as instructed.
