Hello guys, first let me say that you have an awesome community going on here!.

So, my issue is the following. I cleaned my pc of a couple of viruses that my old antivirus wasn't catching after I rebooted I haven't been able to log back on. I get this BSOD, i've tried:

looked to change consrv to winsrv with my windows cd using the comand promt but it didn't had consrv on the key.

tried sfc scannow but returned saing that I had some repairs under way.

So, Hope you guys can give me a hand with this one, thanks!.

NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system

    Attached is fixlist.txt
    • Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST64.exe on your flash drive.

    Now re-enter System Recovery Options.
Run FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
Please attach this to your next message. (How to attach)

    Now attempt to boot normally.

One question, did you want me to try and boot up right after hitting fix or after some more instructions?

Tried it and it worked! :D thanks a lot man!.

I have a couple of questions tho. In my slave drive I had a lot of stuff, now I just have a single folder (66.9GB) even tho my HDD says it's using 273GB, any ideas why that might be?.

And a couple of other questions for future knowledge. Why did this happen? and is there some books/websites I can hit to learn or at least understand what you just did?.

    Thanks again.

    You're welcome :)

The slave hdd says it's using 273GB? If so, try turning on hidden files and folders. See: How to view hidden, system files & folders!

I don't know. It could have been an infected torrent. Be careful with stuff like this. See: Warning about Porn, Keygens, Cracks, and other Illegal Software

Do you still need assistance with malware? I noticed the presence of Codec-C.exe which is not good :(
I quarantined them as part of the fix but I am not sure if they were executed or not.

Just wanted to make an update about my hard drive. So as you might remember I wasn't able to find a lot of my stuff from my salve drive, I fixed that earlier today.

    • I went to folder options
    • clicked "view hidden files"
    • but then I also unchecked "Hide protected operating system files"
    • Wne t to my hardrive and found a folder called "Found.000"
    • Inside that there was A LOT of folders and all my stuff was scattered around there.
    • I just cut/pasted and I have all my stuff back!.

@thisisu Thanks for the help man, you're a awesome!.
