Hope everyone wouldn't mind, I know I haven't been around much, but I'm very much involved in the security community.

My question is...we can join together in this group against malware...will you fight?

Feel free to join in the fight against malware:

    Hi.:)

That's pretty much what we do here as far as our malware forum (which is one of the best), our protection guides, and helping people with malware questions as far as protection software.

We also don't allow discussion regarding illegal downloads, which as you know, are also a factor in getting infected.

So, pretty much every day that's what the people here on Major Geeks do. :)

    HI
Laura pretty much hit the nail on the head.
This is the best site on the web for cleaning malware and the members here are dedicated to fighting invasions of the unworthy who try to infect the web.

Oh I know. I created the group because I knew of these facts! It sounded very catchy, and gives people confidence to join a noble cause. :)

    Hi

Its a noble cause in fighting malware, which is a nightmare to try and in the main educate computer users to do some basics in securing their own PC or device as Laura mentions the crux of the issue is the belief in many that they can get "free" media, be that music, films, software without paying the actual developer for it.

One of the worst is those that warez "rip off illegally" Microsoft and more so Windows Operating System as that piece of software is the linch-pin of our daily computing and if you have a suspect core component it does not matter how much security software you add, you are already compromised at the core!!

A group is good to have but in reality a group in this forum software is not really going to be seen at all and not likely to have massive input, I aprieciate your enthusiasm in this malware area and would advise you to be more active on this forum in general and security type support to the members asking for help here, then also look over this HERE and see if this area is for you to devote time to, as malware issues are a time consuming venture.

What you will find is that Majorgeeks as a collective group always devote time to educate others as to malware and security issues, so as I mentioned do join in and be active, but do come up with personal and creative replies and not bog standard "google" type replies and you will definatly be seen as serious user who wants to remove the malware peril we all face daily.

    Good luck to you

    David

    Thanks for your confidence.

    This:
Helped. I will do this later, as I have expressed interest to Tim about it.

I've done a lot of work in the security community, hopefully this will work out!
