There appears to be a program on my computer that uses my internet usage and is causing me trouble. I have run the following scans without finding it:
Bit Defender, SuperAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes anti malware scan, Hitman Pro, Rouge Killer, AdwCleaner, as well as JRT (junkware cleaner). Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm just about at the end of my rope.

    Welcome to MajorGeeks

Please read ALL of this message including the notes before doing anything.

Please follow the instructions in the below link:

READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

and then attach the requested logs to your next reply when you finish these instructions.
    • **** If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going. ****
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not. MGtools will frequently run even when all other tools will not.
    • After completing the READ & RUN ME and attaching your logs, make sure that you tell us what problems still remain ( if any still do )!
    Helpful Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode, you can run the steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools and the manual updates for Malwarebytes ( links are given in the READ & RUN ME) onto another PC and then burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes, you could use a flash drive too, but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.
    3. If you cannot seem to login to an infected user account, try using a different user account (if you have one) in either normal or safe boot mode and running only Malwarebytes while logged into this other user account. Then reboot and see if you can log into the problem user account. If you can then run RogueKiller, Malwarebytes, HitmanPro and MGtools on the infected account as requested in the instructions.
    4. To avoid additional delay in getting a response, it is strongly advised that after completing the READ & RUN ME you also read this sticky:
    * Any additional post is a bump which will add more delay. Once you attach the logs, your thread will be in the work queue and as stated - our system works the oldest threads FIRST.

Try running MGTools.exe again, ensure that UAC is disabled and that you are indeed running it as admin.
If this fails, try running it in safe mode.
If that fails do this instead:

Now please download OTL by OldTimer.
    • Save it to your desktop.
    • Double-click on the OTL icon on your desktopto run it. (Note: if using Vista, Win7 or Win8 use right-click and select Run as Administrator)
    • Check the "Scan All Users" checkbox.
    • Check the "Standard Output".
    • Change the setting of "Drivers" and "Services" to "All"
    • Copy the text in the code box below and paste it into the http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/66/otlcustomfix.png text-field.
      Code:
      activex
      netsvcs
      drives

    • Now click the http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/2405/runscanotl.png button.
    • One report will be created:
      • OTL.txt <-- Will be opened
    • Attach OTL.txt to your next message. (How to attach)
    • Also attach Extras.txt

I am not seeing any malware...

Before we continue I would like for you to use MSConfig to put this machine back into normal start up mode. Any other mode is primarily used for troubleshooting and diagnostic purposes. You should look into some third party software to control start up's.

Please download the latest version of Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: Make sure you download the correct version for your PC. Only the correct version will work.
    • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
    • Press Scan button.
    • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your next reply.
    • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

    Hi Kestrel 13

I ran MGTools.exe again, and this time, ended up with this file, MGlogsR.zip. I hope this is the one you were looking for. If not, just let me know and I will go through the process again. Your help and patience is much appreciated.

I am not seeing any malware in those logs. What makes you think something is using your internet usage?

My normal internet usage amounts to between 10 and 25 GB per month. Since Sept 16, it is close to or exceeding my usage limit of 65 GB. Also, the usage continues even when my computer is turned off, and my internet connection is disconnected! I even disconnected power from my modem (Bell Fibe which supplies both tv reception and internet access) for an entire 24 hour period, (midnight to midnight) and still had 1.982 GB of internet usage recorded.

    You are most welcome. : - )

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.

    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
