How can I fix my my letters writing numbers and letters-glued s one command?

Some of the things I have done:
I have also done some additional runs with other software, windows update and one more malware-am.
Went through several checks of all my settings as well. I may have missed something of course...
But I have not been able to fix my letters writing numbers and letters-glued as one command like this:
    y7, t4
and backspace, shift are running other commands.

I have shifted language keyboards [I found info about that in one of your forums-posts].
    I have installed, updated language.

I have no malware or virus anywhere.
Malware, Trojan virus did probably create these problems but the malware-virus are gone but the messed up problems are left.

I think they hacked me through Outlook and remotely through a Cisco router which seems to be attached to my PC, when I run AVAST network, but I can't find it anywhere on my PC nor do I have any router.
Now, can you suggest which forum or thread I can check next to find any solutions to my problems?

Thanks, for any help, truly appreciated.
    :)

    What is this?
Then you need to visit the Malware Removal forum and start over here.
    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/index....ide-incl-spyware-virus-trojan-hijacker.35407/
Scroll down and select the procedure for your Windows OS.

As you can see in my link above I have already been there, done that.
I have nothing, all is clean.
But it left a mess, so my next step is fixing software issues... and ???

    :)
    thanks.

When I type t it types 4 : letter t is glued to number four.
Some other letters+ numbers have same double model .
If i type backspace, it opens folder to save etc.

So in short my keyboard commands are messed up.

Any ideas? What I should look for or any direction to go?

    command: osk.exe works ok.

    Eldon?
I am not sure where I do the reset and where my tools are?
    I checked couple of versions.
    In Office 2010: File -> customize ribbon -> ...?
The only reset I have there is : reset all customization , but that is everything.
That is also only Office keyboard related and I have same problems when I am writing online... which is outside Office software?!

Did I miss to understand something?
    Thanks

I suggest you first try another keyboard.
Then we'll know if it's a software (Windows) or hardware problem.

  11. StellaNova

    StellaNova Private E-2

When I use command run -> osk.exe = it works fine without the 'messy programs'.

Also when i log on to my bank account, all numbers, digits are-work fine.

So... but all other online writing and office, doc., programs writing is messed up.
I don't have an extra keyboard, but since above works, I assume it is not hardware.
    ?

I am on a laptop but [i will try to find and extra keyboard somehow]

    Thanks for your time!

    osk.exe is the On-Screen Keyboard.
Which keyboard are you having problems with?

OSK works in Office and online, Chrome browser... so I would say it works across all applications?!
    Or?

Then your keyboard problem is hardware or driver related.

Check the PC manufacturer's website for your model.
    1. If there's no keyboard driver, then it's included with Windows. Uninstall the driver from Device Manger, and restart the PC. Windows will re-install the driver.
    2. If there is, download and install it. There should be installation instructions on the driver page.

If one of these options don't work, the keyboard is damaged. It's not worth repairing. Use an external keyboard.

My PC-laptop was bought with the programs settings chrome 8.0, no CD.
Could not find any driver update on Samsung for my laptop. Looked for that even before.
Do you think it is included Windows then?
My sfc/scannow said I have errors and to fix them:

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log%WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.

To repair the corrupted files manually, view details of the System File Checker processto find the corrupted file, and thenmanually replace the corrupted file with a known good copy of the file.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929833#bookmark-cbs log

Do you think this may be related somehow?

Driver update for keyboards, I have tried before from Device manager and they say they are updated and OK.
    ?

What do you suggest me to do first: what you said or what I added now, or something else?

    Thanks for all! :)

    Let Windows fix the errors.
Right-click the drive and click Properties > Tools > Check now...
Check both boxes and click Start. After a few seconds there'll be a prompt. Click Schedule a disk check and restart the PC.

Your description of your problem is not easy to follow but you need to rule out first that this isn't simply a keyboard fault. Is there any software in which all your keys behave as they should - Notepad for instance? If not you should get a cheap plug-in keyboard and check that next. I would hold off running chkdsk with both switches for the time being as it will take forever and will not correct corrupt system files.

Eldon and Earthing, thanks to both of you!

External keyboard works fine, I am using it right now to check around.
So since that works... I should focus on the drivers of my keyboard then?
Eldon I will do that, do you have any other suggestions and directions before or after?

Earthing... yes I understand you regarding : (Your description of your problem is not easy to follow).
This is a mess after a targeted remote WiFi hijacking with malware and Trojan virus, so I have been doing loops of clearings in all related areas, and my last persistent problem is the keyboard, everything else seems to be rather ok.

    Thanks again :)

I checked the drive, no issues, all is ok.
I have windows 8.1 and there are no such options left (to check boxes)) as it was before when scanning driver, but I know what you mean.
    So... any suggestions?

    Thanks

Why don't you just give us a straight answer to the question I asked you in #19? Is there any software in which your keyboard works normally? If no, and if you have followed through what Eldon said in #16 then your keyboard is shot - use an external.

  23. StellaNova

    StellaNova Private E-2

Earthling, I am giving straight answers based on how I understand.
We all have our way to understand and express our selves, don't we?

No, my keyboard doesn't work normally in any software.

What does this mean: -> your keyboard is shot
    ?

  24. Earthling

    Earthling Interplanetary Geek

It means it has a fault.

  25. StellaNova

    StellaNova Private E-2

Earthling, I know my keyboard has a fault.
Why do you think it has been shot? Any known targets hackers win with that?

  26. plodr

plodr MajorGeek Super Extraordinaire Moderator Staff Member

Keyboards develop hardware issues - that's what "shot" meant. As in finished, done, not of any use any more.

    You have 3 options:
    1. Continue to use the onscreen keyboard
    2. Attach an external keyboard and use that
    3. Replace or get someone to replace the keyboard

    Hello again!
I wonder: I did a upgrade from windows 8.1 to windows 10, all seems to work fine except my keyboard.
My keyboard error is still same (commands, letters, digits are still messed up).
Does anyone have any new conclusion of what this is and if I can solve it or?
It seems my keyboard is running some faulty software program somewhere and it seems it is not the drivers, since windows 10 did driver updates as well.
Any ideas or something I don't see, but someone here sees?
    Thanks

    22/7 ( :echo :echo)...
I am obviously trying to find a way to fix it.
Since the error was created by trojan-malware, it has to be a way to fix it, I think.
Keyboard has no drivers and all related drivers are windows 10 updated, so:
it has to be some programming code that runs somewhere as a ghost, shadow.

How many times and ways does it have to be explained to you that there is no "fix" to your keyboard besides replacing it or using a USB external keyboard? Your present keyboard in your laptop has an integrated circuit in it that is obviously sending the wrong impulses to the motherboard on your laptop. That chip cannot be simply replaced. Get a new keyboard!!!!!

hey... thanks for that info, I had no idea about that and what that means:

" Your present keyboard in your laptop has an integrated circuit in it that is obviously sending the wrong impulses to the motherboard on your laptop. That chip cannot be simply replaced."

I wonder since you know the above: can any trojan-virus-malware do that to my chip through their attacks?

    Thanks Booboo58 :D

dr.moriarty, you are saying a virus-malware-program-code can not mess up my chip or?
And that the error keyboard I have, is not any kind of virus-malware-program-code but a hardware/chip issue, or?

I got the messy keyboard after a remote trojan targeting hack and they also had wifi access to my pc.
They took down my AVG antivirus, windows defender and came trough two trusted wifi providers ... and so on.
They are military professionals, using AI interference maybe, so I think anything is possible.

So; how sure are you since I am no expert?

Another option => save your documents and reset your PC to factory condition to see if that will restore proper keyboard functionality.

Earthling answers with #20 (External keyboard works fine, I am using it right now to check around.) -Yes, I use it: USB keyboard.

PC to factory condition: I have been looping around that for a while now but the reason why I didn't want to do it before nor yet is simple: I am not sure how much they have messed with my PC, so I am still in the going through everything mode.

Also my recent windows 10 install requires to go through all new possibilities.
Meanwhile I am trying different ways to solve my keyboard errors.

Thanks everyone, all your feedback helps me see from more perspectives and may inspire me to try out something else. ;)

With all due respect... how do you know your PC is free from malware while at the same time refering to "virus-malware-program-code"?
Go back to your thread in the Makware Removal forum and upload the requested logs. If Kestrel13! gives you the all clear, then you'll know for sure the keyboard is broken.
