I think ive been infected with trojans from current results from the bitdefender scan.

I did everything in the read and run me thread thing and so ill post the logs with info on whats going on.

AVG has 4 things that come up and the Result/infection is "change"
    The four files are: kernel.dll , user.dll , shell32.dll , ntoskrnl.exe

when i boot up windows no matter what account i go onit always give me an error at the beginning saying Error loading C:\WINDOWS\system32\nygsbgph.dll
The specified module could not be found.

I scanned with the additional Trend Micro Scanner and it picked up 2 "vulnerabilities. These are as follows:

(MS04-028) Buffer Overrun in Jpeg Processing (CGI+) Could Allow Code Execution (833987)

(MS04-027) Vulnerability in Word Perfect Converter Could Cause Code Execution(884933)

    Please help me. :(

Did you read the other stickies? Most noteable this one:

Don't Bump! It Only Hurts You!!!

You need to attach the other logs requested in the READ ME and not paraphrase any of them. Attach the logs from

AVG Antispyware (if you ran it instead of CounterSpy)
    Panda ActiveScan

Now I see you have not renamed HijackThis.exe to analyse.exe as is required. You must do this now!

You also need to uninstall the below as was request in steps 6 & step 0 of the READ ME:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 3
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6
    Outerinfo

Now you need to attach new logs from ShowNew and HJT!

Run this Disable/Remove Windows Messenger to remove Windows Messenger.

Continue by downloading a tool we will need

    - Process Explorer

Extract it to its own folder somewhere that you will be able to locate it later.

Make sure you have rebooted in Normal Mode (do not open any other processes)

Make sure that one and only one Internet Explorer browser is opened up

    - Run Process Explorer

In the top section of the Process Explorer screen double click on winlogon.exe to bring up the winlogon.exe properties screen. Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you see this screen click on each instance of any of the below DLL files (if found) and then click the kill button.
    iifddbc.dll
    nygsbgph.dll
    pgaedcbj.dll
    sjrafnnq.dll
    winepi32.dll
After you have killed all instances of any of the above DLLs under winlogon click ok.
(If you do not find these DLLS, just continue on.)

Next double click on explorer.exe and again click once on each instance of any of the below DLL files (if found) and then click the kill button.
    iifddbc.dll
    nygsbgph.dll
    pgaedcbj.dll
    sjrafnnq.dll
    winepi32.dll

After you have killed all instances of any of the above DLLs under Explorer click ok.
(If you do not find these DLLS, just continue on.)

Next double click on iexplore.exe and again click once on each instance of any of the below DLL files (if found) and then click the kill button.
    iifddbc.dll
    nygsbgph.dll
    pgaedcbj.dll
    sjrafnnq.dll
    winepi32.dll

After you have killed all instances of any of the above DLLs under iexplore click ok.
(If you do not find these DLLS, just continue on.)

    Now just exit Process Explorer.

Run HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0CD75D10-0BD8-48D1-9F41-76BAAFCEE734} - (no file)

    O20 - AppInit_DLLs: AntiLogger.dll
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: iifddbc - iifddbc.dll (file missing)
    O20 - Winlogon Notify: winepi32 - winepi32.dll (file missing)

NOTE: HJT may popup an error about the AppInit_DLLs line. Ignore it and click OK to continue.
    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
Now download The Avenger by Swandog46, and save it to your Desktop.
    • Extract avenger.exe from the Zip file and save it to your desktop
    • Run avenger.exe by double-clicking on it.
    • Check the 'Input script manually' box.
    • Click on the magnifying glass icon.
    • Copy everything in the Quote box below, and paste it in the box that opens:
    • Now click the 'Done' button.
    • Click on the traffic light icon and OK the prompt.
    • You will be prompted to restart, OK the prompt and your PC should reboot, if not, reboot it yourself.
    • A log file from Avenger will be produced at C:\avenger.txt
    Now run Ccleaner!

Now attach the below new logs and tell me how the above steps went.

    1. Avenger
    2. GetRunKey
    3. ShowNew
    4. HJT

Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

Reminder Note: Once we have determined you are malware free you will need to disable System Restore, reboot, and re-enable system restore per step 8 of the READ & RUN ME. This only applies to if using WinXP or WinMe.

Everything went fine it pretty much did everything you explained. Although, when i rebooted for the Avenger thing at the startup on my account it was having some errors producing the avengers.txt file or something like that.

I still see Outerinfo in your uninstall programs list (see the end of the ShowNew log). Did you have a problem uninstalling it or did you not even find it? If you did not find it, run the below and attach the requested log:

Getting Uninstall Programs List From The Registry

Also run this new fixME.reg patch.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

    How are things working?

I didnt even find Outerinfo. And I still can't. I patched the registry with the fixMe.reg file. Everythings working fine like I never even had a virus, but I think it wrecked my registry. I don't know, you guys are the smart ones;)

Okay then the below new registry patch will remove it from your uninstall list in the registry.

Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. If we used Pocket Killbox during your cleanup, do the below
      • Run Pocket Killbox and select File, Cleanup, Delete All Backups
    2. If we used ComboFix, you can delete the ComboFix.exe file, C:\ComboFix folder, C:\QooBox folder, and the C:\combofix.txt log that was created.
    3. If we user SDFix you can delete all the SDFix related files and folders from your Desktop or whereever you installed it.
    4. If we used VundoFix, you can delete the VundoFix.exe file and the C:\VundoFix Backups folder and C:\vundofix.txt log that was created.
    5. If we had your run FixWareOut, you can delete the Fixwareout.exe file and the C:\fixwareout folder.
    6. If we had you run Avenger, you can delete all files related to Avenger now.
    7. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    8. You can delete the ShowNew.Zip and GetRunkey.Zip files and the files that you extracted from the ZIP files. You can also delete the C:\newfiles.txt and C:\runkeys.txt logs that were created
    9. If you are running Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • go back to step 8 of the READ & RUN ME to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    10. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

I must be the noobiest person on earth. After I followed your last steps, I followed the protect my malware guide and realized, I didnt have a firewall! At the moment Im scanning with Spybot and its picked up 2 things already. Ill keep you posted cause its probably less severe.

That's correct! You had no true firewall installed. You only had the inadequate Win XP SP2 firewall running. Becareful with what Spybot is telling you. After installing your on antivirus and firewall, it may give you messages/warnings that your security center or firewall have been changed from the defaults. This is normal once you are no longer using Windows Security Center or firewall because you have installed your own.
