1,000,000 posts

    I know, thats a fair amount of posts, but in reality baring the deleted posts and spam, the post count is nearer 1370000, so dont think even using the post count numbers to each post link we could tell.

    But as 1m nears in true posts then that a milestone.

    Thank you, yes I am nearing "Major Geek" Status... But not so much a milestone, as a testament to how much nonsense I've filled this place with. haha.. I don't venture out of the lounge much. If my count was frozen at 999, I'd be alright with that.

    Alright, I don't want to spam my way to 1,000.. For as long as I've been a member here, most of my posts have been in the last year. I think I hit 400 earlier this year even. :cool

    I don't go to other forums, not for any reason other than I don't really have time to look for them, and this one's enough for me.. But I wonder how long the others have been around, and how the stats compare to here? Any of the admins keep tabs on the other similar forums? I'd think 1,000,000 posts is a rarity, maybe it just seems like a lot though.

    Yes 1mil posts is a great achievement and a few other of the older forums have managed this and one major mobile forum dwarfs the total we have but they where going before MGs,

    Wont name it but if you are into mobiles then you will know it... no guessing as no prizes are available ;)
    A tech one I do goto now and again (again been around for just as long as MG or the previous parents in Tweakfiles/3DFiles) but not as much these days, no time to do multiple forums
    plus another major tech forum
    However dont think the amount of posts or member numbers are what matters, TBH I think its more down to the regular members and the quality of posting that matters, as many members join and post once on multiple forums with their answer, depending on who answers first, may determine what forum that "may" stick with.

    I don't remember what it was that had me posting here, rather than just downloading the files I wanted, but I do remember throwing myself at people, like Emma and some others, mostly in the chat box, then later in the threads.

    I've been throwing myself at more and more people ever since, and everyone here's been friendly, that's why I've stayed. It's also nice to see the people involved in running the site as regular posting members, as much or more than they are moderators.

    I think I'm on this site more than any other, it's the perfect mix of everything for me. :cool

    I stick with this forum and mainly two others: TaleWorlds, home port of the fabulous medieval combat game Mount & Blade, and PiratesAhoy!, a site dedicated to all games pirate-themed.

    At last count on PiratesAhoy!, I've made 15,266 posts on there. :eek I guess I'm one of the resident spammers over there. :-D

    Hey, i am days late, I just remembered it was getting close. We considered a prize but realized if you count all the spam we deleted as well as other deletes, we are thousands and thousands above 1 million... Our luck, a spammer would have gotten the millionth post ;)
