1 of my 4 user accounts won't connect to the net

    I am having the same problem with HP laptop, don't know of any changes just all of a sudden, won't connect one user:confused

    Hi

    Moved your post from the old thread here to its own one.

    Have you tried the information Adryn posted in the other thread and checked your firewall settings, disable the firewall to test if connection can be made with it off.

    Also what Windows version are you using?

    Windows XP Yes I have turned off firewalls. All other users have no truble with webb pages.

    When this one account launches, I assume you use the browser and it says page not found. In IE, click file and be sure that work offline is not checked/ticked.
