I was getting a bit fed up with 10 seeming to be so slow on my laptop, even on a new SSD, so I imaged what I'd got and used the rollback facility in Windows Update to revert to 8.1. And it wasn't my imagination that 10 had been slow. On this machine 8.1 is twice as fast booting up and also when opening Firefox and Thunderbird, my most used programs. I've got the GWX icon back so can upgrade again at any time, but think I'll leave it for a while.

The good news is that the rollback seems to have worked fine and didn't take too long either.

I have to say that since FF updated to v. 40.0.2, mine has slowed horribly. :(

I may have to try Edge. I'm not ready to roll back...if I ever do.
