I am receiving an error when I try and play simple games I have installed like Pacman. I tried to run a photo editer app and the same error message came on. I attached a copy of the error message. It is a 16-Bit Windows Subsytem Error. I am not familiar with that. Any suggestions? I already tried to re-install XP and that didn't work. Thanks

Check c:\windows\system32 for an "autoexec.nt" file (this error is usually caused by this file being damaged or missing). If it is present, rename it to "autoexec.old".

Copy the autoexec.nt file from the c:\windows\repair folder and paste it into c:\windows\system32

Error should be gone! Let us know if it works!
