So, Ivan has a new front sight now. I bought this sight a while back, was going to take it to a gunsmith and have it installed. Until I ran across a nifty tool that lets me do it myself.

So, now my 1930 Russian rifle has a fiber optic front sight, that is adjustable easily for elevation and right and left. Sweet. :-D Ten minute job including the laser bore sighting.

And for the purist, the old 'correct' sight can be put back in in just a few minutes to make it 'period proper'.

    Got if from Bruce http://elby.yolasite.com/

Cheaper than taking it to a gunsmith. Plus, I have a laser bore sight in my box of evil gun parts. :-D

Ah, fiber optic sights, lasers, all on a 1930 rifle. Ivan has become high tech. Did the metric conversion, the elevation adjustment on the gun's sight goes out to 2000 meters, or 1.24 miles. Like I can see that far to aim it! :-D
