9550, same clocks, guarrenteed to be 128bit and can do DX9 stuff (the 5200 would be forced to use the DX8 path or run like complete and utter shit). And if you get the omega drivers you can overclock the 9550 a bit, then again, it uses a passive heatsink, but you could probably overclock the ram a bit.

    Please, in english.
Oh, and on the 9500, would i need to put a fan on there?

lol, well I read the posts for the 5200 and some people got 64bit ones and some people got 128bit ones so your not guarenteed to get a 128bit one. 128bit means double the memory bandwidth compared to 64bit which means superly higher FPS. The 9550 uses the same DX9 stuff that the 9700 uses so it can run some DX9 stuff at a decent speed. The 5200 uses some scaled down DX9 from the 5800 which is bad enough at DX9 as it is. Some of the 9550s are decent overclockers but they're locked so you need something like the omega drivers (or the hacked catalyst drivers) to unlock them so you can overclock. You wouldent NEED to put a fan on they're, but I'd reccomend it if you wanna overclock the core at all. I've only put a fan on vcard like, once before so I'd ask someone else if you interested in putting one on.

Would it be hard to mount a fan on?
I dont think im going to overclock it, but i do wanna keep it cool.

What's the airflow like in your case? Like at the back of the comp is the hot air commen out extremely hot? You shouldent need a fan on it if your not overclcking. And it might be quite difficult im not sure how'd you get the heatsink off it but I know you could use some artic silver adhesive on it to get the new heatsink to stick (I think at least, might be wrong, lol)

EDIT: BTW what are your comps specs?
