I think this is the right forum for this question, so here goes. I'm trying to download the drivers from my digital camera manufacturer's website, but it comes up with the error of "The operating system is not adequate for running PENTAX USB DISK device." The manufacturer's site says this error will occur if you don't have a high-speed USB 2.0, but I do! Any suggestions?? Thanks!

just to double check in Device Manager click USB and look for "Enhanced" on any of the USB controllers?

    What OS are you using?
If XP then have you just turned on your camera and plugged it in as XP does with most cameras allow you to not need to install manufacturers drivers as XP comes with its own Mass Storage Driver which shows up in My Computer as a removable drive.

another thing to try if your OS recognises the new hardware and searches for a driver ( Update Hardware Wizard ) why not have it search windows update for one?

Your driver for the usb is probably old.I am sure this problem can be solved by installing the
microsoft usb 2.0 enhanced host controllers, which is available in their service packs.
    I had this same problem.
