My son comes out of my bedroom and walks into the bathroom where I am getting ready. He was just watching Bear in the Big Blue House on Disney. Walks right in and says "Daddy... Platypus".. it was clear as day and I couldn't believe it.. 17months old and he whips out a word like Platypus..lol.

The other day I had a test in my OS class. One of the questions was "find the binary sum of 32C and 11F and I looked at it (after having a REALLY REALLY long day at work), I got up and asked the professor.. is that one one F or eleven F.. he looked at me and I just walked back to my seat and said nevermind..lol Those of you who understand HEX will find that funny

OS design in binary. Must be an effecient and fast. Tough to debug tho.

The OS class is your typical 101 level class. Basic stuff. No design at all. Essentially it's the history of and about how they work etc. Had I remembered how to convert HEX to binary in November, I would have tested out of it. Damnit to hell!!!

 

Phew, my 400 series CS classes were compiler and OS design. Good to know skills I learned haven't been downgraded to entry level.
