2 problems: Don`t know what`s causing them

Hi,
just joined up. I don`t know what the etiquette is here and I apologise if I`m breaking any rules by asking a question so soon. I`d greatly appreciate any help or suggestions that anybody might be able to give me.I own a Toshiba Satellite L450D-13X. I`ve had it about a year. I haven`t had any problems with it until this weekend. Yesterday it kept freezing, repeatedly. Today no problem with freezing but it keeps behaving as if I was right clicking when I`m left clicking opening cut and paste etc.
As I said I`d appreciate any help.

What operating system version and Service Pack # are you running? And, do you experience the same symptoms when you boot into Safe Mode?

 

Have you scanned for malware?

About? Check your warranty information. If less than a year and still under warranty, contact Toshiba Tech Support and get on record you are having system freeze problems - just in case this turns out to be a hardware problem.

Also, a BIG inherent problem with notebooks is their size, mainly, thin and light. This greatly limits cooling capability of the case and pretty much prevents the normal user from keeping the system free of heat trapping dust that IS sucked deep into the innards of the notebook. What are your temps? Especially just before it freezes?

I recommend you power down and remove every cover and expose every bay and cavity and carefully blast away any dust with a canned of compressed dusting gas - taking care to hold the can level to prevent super cold liquid from spraying.
