2 xps installed

hi, i found out that xp is installed on my computer twice. What do i do? How do i delete one without losing everything?

SDo, when the PC starts up, are you given a choice of which XP you want to load into? If so, one of the choices is usually the default OS (usually the top one in the list), and this is where all your docs and programs and the file associations are. If you haven't used the second installation of Windows, the best way to handle this would be to simply modify the boot.ini file so the PC will automatically load into the default XP installation. The 2nd install will still technically be there, but you won't be using it. It isn't taking up much space, so if it's just left alone, there shouldn't be any problems.
