i have a asus 2000 MT/s FSB what is the FSB IN mhz???

 

we have no idea what you're talking about. you have an asus "what".. what model is the card? and are you looking for Mtexel fill rate?

referring to hypertransport .. 2000MT/s looks like 1GHz but I can't be 100% on that.

MT/s stands for Million Transfers Per Second.

show me how you got that? MT/s into Mhz? explain

iv seen that 533 million transfers per second (MT/s) gives a theoretical data transfer rate of 2.1 Gb/s. However that is not MHz, MHz is the number of cycles, or instructions per a second.

It seems to me this is talking about a transfer rate (Transfers Per a second), not a clock speed. So how can you convert one into the other?

does that mean that 2.1/533 = 0.00393996
0.00393996 x 2000 = 7.87992495 Gb/s
This doesnt actualy seem that very likely? it just seems wrong
a transfer rate that high?

A 64 bit processor has 64 chanels
2000/64 = million bits per a second
31.25 =Million bits a second
31.25 x 1000000 = 31250000 bits a seond
31250000/8 = bytes a second
3906250 = bytes a second
3906250/1073741824 = Gb a second
0.003637978 x 1000 = GHz
3.64GHz
