24 in acer monitor

just wanted to let every one know that I was able to buy a 24in hdmi monitor at circuit city for $180

 

How do you like your monitor? I too am about to buy a new flat screen monitor for my little Shuttle X as I am using a borrowed crt at this time and would really like some input as to a good one to get.

My funds are tight so your price range or lower will be necessary for me. I have been looking on line and find the 22 inch Acer monitor a possible buy for me, but since I am not so very savvy on these kind of things would appreciate any input from you or others.

Also could you explain what they mean by ms in description of monitor. It seems to have something to do with speed of picture or something like that. The Acer I looked at is suppose to have 5ms, is that good. Is it better to have a lower number or higher?

Please help as I'm a senior granny trying my best to learn as much as possible about computers.
