The last sentence she says is the most powerful. IMO.

Revolutions can occur in every country or region. If we don't have guns, we will use knives, sticks or farming/gardening tools. It's happened many times before. You can ban guns, but you can't ban the spirit of freedom. Those that think the spirit of freedom is B.S., and doesn't exist - all I can say is men and women have fought and died for it for thousands, yes even millions of years. Ever since one Neanderthal tried to take another Neanderthal's cave.~ Does "freedom" exist? - Probably not, but it's an idea, and an idea is enough.
All bans do, is to make the banned items more expensive and play in the hands of criminals, since you are automatically a criminal for selling, buying/owning or using one. Sound familiar?...like drug and alcohol prohibition, maybe?:confused

 

I found it interesting because most of the women I know, are either neutral or are for 'reasonable' gun control that will not affect peoples 'right' to hunt. :confused

Got a kick with biden's statement that if his wife hears an intruder, to go out on the deck and fire 2 shots from their double barrel shotgun. Now that is just a great way to A) get arrested for firing a gun in city limits B)shoot a neighbor or damage property C) announce to said intruder that your gun is now unloaded... :-D

Not to mention his house is protected by the Secret Service... Heck I would not carry a gun if I could carry a cop around. But they are heavy and expensive to feed. :-D

Her point about the Second Amendment's purpose is, IMO, the Red Herring in the room. Hunting and what hunters need, or may be allowed to have and use, are simply not a part of the equation.

Particularly troubling these days is the fact that NASA and the Social Security Administration, among others, are buying ammunition in hundred thousand round lots. Total purchases are running to millions of rounds for agencies with questionable need. Back door gun control IMO...
