Mine seemed to jump from 300 to 500 pretty quickly,

 

The logging out issue is about to piss me off because when I post a lengthy fix and click Reply it says "Please login blah blah..." lol

 

*Is glad MR.GARRICK is having these feelings, a lot like the ones Jakey felt playing those mini-putt games*

The remember me box is no longer checked by default so placing a check in the box when logging in will keep you logged in until you manually log out.

As for the lengthy posts being lost, there are several of us (myself, chas, Halo, etc) who b/c of occasional issue before the upgrade when posts would be 'lost' type everything in notepad then copy paste it into a reply..that way you don't lose your reply if there is a glitch.

Most of the time, I use ms word, because I can use their spell check……and then cut and paste it into MG….works for me, and I’ve tried other spell check programs, and had other issues……..wobbles

 

ok./ its not that the post count is stuck, its that they all read the same. ie. they used to go up as you post, now as it goes up the post count on every post you made is the same. did that make sense? its still early here.

The problem with the logging out after a few minutes of no activity, is this going to get resolved. I hate to keep bringing it up but it's really annoying, because after checking logs and posting fixes...by the time I click reply I have to login again and then find my fix and then post.

 

An "admin" responded to your concern in post #56 of this thread.

Is it possible we can set the "Remember Me" box to default check?

Also, has anyone else had the problem with replying to unread threads and then it still showing as unread?

 

Threads that I am working are being marked read, when I definitely have not read them.

Some not all, it is sort of hit and miss.

 

Yeah, here to..thats how I used to keep up with all my threads..now I just have to check every page...really agravating.
