3 critical issues: sp2 install, drive letters, services errors

I've gotten myself into a mess... Please help...:confused

1. I changed the letter of one of my drives, I want to restore the letters to what they were before without having to do a system recovery operation.. Is that possible to do? without resorting to system restore?:confused please see enclosed picture...Drive C is drive C, but drive J should be my drive E and public J should be my E drive...:cry Am I making any sense? see enclosed picture please... I have a suspicion my back ups are not working as a result of this mess...:cry

2. Microsoft access runtime environment sp2 fails to install correctly... I was told that I might have to uninstall and reinstall my Nicrosoft Office 2007 in order for me to fix this issue... Please see enclosed pic...:confused

3. The services automation for Indexing in Outlook and the Windows service keep on being disabled after me enabling them manually time after time... is not working properly. I go to services settings and change the value to automated, and have tried manual, neither of them are working...:confused

Any suggestions besides doing a system reformat and recover or a system restore?:cry

 

to move the drive letters you just have to move one to something else temporarily, kinda like solving those slider puzzles.
Move J to X (click in management console change drive letter path)
Move E to J
Move X to E
Checkmate!

 

There is no option for the letter "E" to be chosen, which was the original drive...

 

There is an e: is that screen shot???? marked as a removable drive..is that your screen shot??

 

yees foogoo it is my screen shot but the E drive is now what you said, not what it was before the letter exchange...

 

That unfortunatelly did not work 100%. There was no E choice to pick from in the process... I now have a drive X for my external drive and J is again my flash stick drive...
