Ok, I searched and found no threads on this topics and I must have made a mistake because this is a real problem program. I was running CC Cleaner and was prompted for an update to CC Cleaner. Clicked on it and the wonderful (sarcasm) little program I did not ask for appeared and I absolutely can not get rid of it...

    360Total Security.

Not in my add/remove, cannot kill it with MalwareBytes, it's a Chinese program and I do not trust it and want it off my computer. Any ideas? Any help would be very welcome. Cheers!

If you have no recollection of ever installing it and it doesn't appear as an installed program, I suggest you immediately head to the MajorGeeks MALWARE REMOVAL FORUM.
First, before posting a new thread there, you must carry out all the steps in the READ & RUN ME FIRST MALWARE REMOVAL GUIDE

When you have read that guide carefully and done all you can start a new thread there and attach all the logs requested.

    Good luck

Technically, 360 Total Security is not considered malware but some people my find it to be annoying especially when it sometimes does not show in add remove programs.

Since I don't know what version of Windows you are running because you did not say ( something like this should always be stated ), I cannot be more specific then saying the below:
    • Click Start Menu and select All Programs
    • Look for 360 Total Security in the list and click on it to expand
    • Look for a built in Uninstall program and run it.
    • Reboot
Delete any left over folders when finished. Did that work?

Sorry guys, new to the forums, well posting anyway. I'm running windows 7. Research showed 360 Total Security as being a virus protection program from China. I did not want to run through the Malware Removal Forum instructions until I could touch base with an expert here. And it is not showing up in ADD/REMOVE or Start>All Programs list. I have read that when prompted about allowing the program to run that you should run it, let it do a full install, then try to remove it. Does that sound legit to you all? Thanks for your help. take it easy on me please as I am interested in tearing into this, however, I'm a noob and I know it.

Oops, now I feel like an idiot, you guys actually recommend this program. Let me let it install and I'll get back to you. Sorry if I wasted any time. But thanks.

Sounds like you had not actually install it yet then. It probably had just put something into your startups but had not fully installed. What happened after you allowed it to install.
