Holy crap, that made NATIONAL news???? LOL!!! We've been dying over this! (Sand Lake is about 20 minutes from here.)

They're not charging anyone with anything...the kid was too young to know better, the mother had no idea he was even gone at 1:30am. He didn't have to reach the pedals....he started the car and let it cruise at idling speed the whole way. The cop who stopped him thought it was a runaway vehicle until it turned into the apartment complex.
