    Hello
I've had some problems with spyware but I've gotten rid of the program but there are 5 files left over in folder for the program I uninstalled. Now, each time I try to delete one of them it says that the file is currently in use. When I access Windows Task Manager I can see them under the processes tab but when I try to end the process the file starts being in use again. I received this problem all day and I've been trying to get rid of the situation by myself. Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi Nathan

Options to delete this errant file are, 2nd one generally works well, may have to do one at a time

    1. Pocket Killbox
    2. MoveOnBoot this one, once you dragNdrop the file or browse for its location, deletes the file on reboot, so any applications that have locked the file are not running so cannot lock it before deletion.. my fav!
    3. Unlocker

Thank you very much MoveOnBoot worked perfectly. Now I know where to go if I have any other computer problems. If I hadn't got any help I probably would've just gave my computer to a specialist because I don't really know what is going on with computers. Thanks for saving me time and money.

    Nathan:)

No problems Nathan glad to help and save you some cash too :)

A good read to help prevent malware infections is this one of ours How to Protect yourself from malware! Some of the free apps like Spywareblaster do help in stopping most malware from being installed in the first place, give it a read as its one I do advise family/friends to follow.

Best way is to seach the forum for questions etc if they are not their then post a question on any query you have and someone here will advise you, dont worry if you feel its a simple question as we all have to start somewhere.
