5 years since Major Geeks started (2001-2006)

    At the time, Australia was my father's last posting (British Foreign Office), so we went over to see him too. Same reason why I travelled a lot when I was young. When I was a kid, travel was more of a necessary fact of life, than choice, which has it's up and down sides in itself.

    My wife's Swedish, actually, which was my last (semi) permanent residence. Been here, in W.A. for over fifteen years, now (of and on, depending on assignments/postings). I guess having young kids at the time, meant I had to settle for a while. How much longer I stay here, depends a lot on the rest of the family. Not very much incentive at the moment to stick here. I'll see what transpires in the year ahead.

    Anyway, enough of my boring Bio.

    It's never boring hearing about peoples movements and their reasons why. :cool:

    Everyone has a story, it's just that most times the stories are never revealed. :)

    Just guessing but I not be in the USofA Bazza ;) I'm in the UKofGB :)


    Small story behind how a few of the early birds got in so quick, as Tweakfiles had ceased to exist many went different ways as MA/CP didnt for reasons have a new forum and downloads site setup so many stuck together on a couple of boards setup my ex members ( only one or two still exist these days ), until the new TF now known as Majorgeeks came about, It was by accident a few of us had tried the old URL to TFs and went HUH its online again or still, low and behold it was Tim and Jim testing for the new Majorgeeks, so they invited us to signup and play before the site went properly live... we did and here we are now, 5yrs later :)

    Actually think Phantom is the first Aussie member as the first page of members to sign up are a mix of US, UK an Estonian and Dutchman.
