555555555555555 Keyboard Hijacked

Dell XPSB733 Win2K Outlook Express, IE6.0
I beleive my wife may have opened an email that infected one of my computers. When you create a new email the keyboard appears to be locked up and then 5's start traveling across every text box or address bar that you click in. I ran all recommended spyware, virus & malware scanners to no avail.
I ran hijackthis but when I go to save the log file all 5's 55555555555555555555555 start running across where you would type in the file name to save it as. I searched Google and these forums and could not find anything. Any ideas?

 

Nevermind - As a last minute thought I exchanged a keyboard with another computer and it appears to have been the keyboard itself. Sorry.
