57 processes

Hi all,
already asked this question on a previous post but here i have displayed all the processes under task manager. The problem is the processes under task manager are listed as 62, is this alot or is it normal? i have macfee as an antivirus and that takes up 6 processes alone.

Well most of those are normal and are related to such things as a Wireless network. If you want to know what each of them are just Google the process such as wuauclt.exe and the first hit will tell you its part of Windows update.

 

yes i ried that post and ended up using cc cleaner and delting all start up processes and this corrupted macfee, which wasn;t good so i had to do a system restore and only deleted the processes that i didn't need. The problem is is all the programs dell put on when purchased , its too many.
If it looks normal then i won't change anything, i was just worried it was overloading the cpu or i had spyware. Is 57 a high number of processes>

Well like I said check out each of the processes and you can then find out whether they are required or not.

 

Sorry Yargwel when u said run through each process with the google search, how do u actually dothat with the .exe command aswell (sorry bit of a novice when it comes to task manager)
