    Hi all,

My problem is that while playing EQ2 I hear a repeated very short duration intermittent beep, similar to the MB self-test beep but much shorter. As I play, the beep increases in frequency and after a period varying wildly from 5 to 60 minutes, my video display will freeze and/or system will crash. This has been ongoing for 2 weeks since I installed the new card. I have Hardware Doctor and Video Card Stability Test installed on the following:

Windows XP Home SP2 - fresh clean install
    Mach Speed Viper V881DAS MB
    AMD Athlon XP 3000+ @ 2.16Ghz
    Seagate 80GB HDD
    1024 MB DDR 400 memory
Apollo GeForce FX 5200 256 MB video card (new install x 2 weeks)
MB BIOS updated; MB, video, sound and other drivers installed fresh

Hardware Doctor shows CPU temp varying around 125 F. and Sys Temp around 92 F while playing EQ2 ( I run it then window out to check temps.) I downloaded and used the Video Card Stability Test which ran without problem for 10 minutes. At the 10 minute mark I started Hardware Doctor (temps WNL - and immediately got a short beep and a warning that my 5VCC voltage was low (range set 4.60 - 5.50 volts) and it alarms very frequently while the video card is being tested. Am I totally off track or could there be a problem with my power supply? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Check in your bios like pc health status you should see a setting for warning
    treshold temperature make it higher.....

I checked but there is no option in my bios under PC Health to change the threshhold temperature. Only one to enable or disable overheat shutdown and one to enable or disable warnings. Would this cause the undervoltage I am seeing in the 5VCC on Hardware Doctor?

Is your system overclocked?? If so, it may be overclocked too high. I'm not familiar with that motherboard, so I couldn't tell you where to go to change the temp settings, but it dosen't really look like it's getting TOO hott, definitely a little warmer than normal, but it shouldn't be anythign to worry about. You may also have some type of hardware issue, what brand of RAM are you using? it may have gone bad...

    Best of luck.
