64bit Chrome and Forum software

    Hi,
    I am having trouble on a forum I belong to. They have recently upgraded to Invision / IPB and I now can't post replies from my home pc, but i can from my work pc. both are win 7 64bit pro and running chrome 64bit beta.


    Work ( Version 44.0.2403.61 beta-m (64-bit)) is ok and my tablet is ok (Android)..
    Home (Version 44.0.2403.81 beta-m (64-bit) )

    On my home pc it won't allow me to park in the reply box??

    I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has any thoughts your help is much apprciated?

    Have you checked on a different browser on the PC you can't reply with to see if its the Chrome browser?

    If it functions on another browser, I'd go through and disable any addons you have installed on Chrome and see if it works after that.

    oops sorry, yes I have tried firefox and that works fine..

    I just noticed you were using the beta version of Chrome, and you have the new build on the home computer that isn't working.

    I would suspect that that is the problem, but if you have add ons installed, I'd disable all of them and see if that helps.

    If it doesn't, maybe someone else can give you some ideas, but I'd say you'll need to either use a different browser for your forum or you should switch to a stable release: http://www.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel

    I did revert it back to a 'stable' release last night and that didn't work either.
    My laptop at work is running the same version and that is working fine. That's what's confusing me somewhat.. I will disable the extensions and see where that takes me.
