6800gt doesnt seem right

Ok ,
Got a few probs with new vid card besides heat.This card is only scoreing 10500 stock and 11300 at ultra clock speeds.I see others are easily getting 12 &13 with these same cards stock.The temp is 62 idle and 75 up under load.
This card just doesnt seem right to me.Also 3d 03 is reading my core at 12 mhz,even after I changed the 2d clock to match the 3d speed it says 369 when its set to 400.That part I understand could be futuremark,but still seems funny considering the rest of the probs.I removed the heatsink,and noticed the thermal paste on the ram chips was dried,I have arctic silver coming,but could that be some of the prob,could these temps be limiting me like this????As far as real performance goes I,m playing half life 2 everything high (as recommended by the game for my system)and lower levels of aa,af with no probs.(1280x1024x32) I appreciate any responses guys.
