    Cannot get Windows Updates.
Am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit on a Dell XPS M1210 on a validated system.

Last known update was 3/19/2008; ever since I cannot get automatic Windows Updates.

When I attempt to do a Windows Update I get the message: "Windows could not search for new updates." Error(s) found: Code 80092003.

I have researched this and have done the following with the same results:
    A. Temporarily shut down ALL firewalls.
    B. Have run then termporarily shut down ALL mal-ware software running
    C. Have run then temporarily shut down ALL ad-ware software running
    D. Have run CCleaner.

I think this is a "permissions error" but I am not 100% sure.

    1. I thought I knew how to check what kind of permissions I have as administrator but cannot. So, how do I check to see what permissions I have as Administrator?

I have HiJack This software available and can attach log file if needed.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    GV
