95k 3d first person shooter.

I found this last year, wasn't sure if anyof you have seen this or not:

Anyway, the game is only 95k, but requires at least the following to run:

- A 1.5GHz Pentium3/Athlon or faster.
- 512MB of RAM (or more)
- A Geforce4Ti (or higher) or ATI Radeon8500 (or higher) graphics card
supporting pixel shaders 1.3, preferably with 128MB or more of VRAM.
- Some kind of sound hardware
- DirectX 9.0b

Yeah, I first learned about that a few years ago when that same group of programmers released a demo called The Product. (See it here.) It is awesome!

 

just as I was about say this is the most efficient peice of code ever,i got stuck on ledge and had to restart the game,then on restarting my gun just farted and didnt fire anything

I'm still amazing what they have crammed into 96k,they need to work with sierra a the new F.E.A.R game,it needs 950mb of ram just to stop it going to the page file every second

I've been watching demos since around 1988. Recently, since 2003, I've been browsing about 5 sites looking for new demos to download, though, I usually delete the ones I think are poor quality. I do this about once a month.

Be it 64k demos (I have about 12 or so) to the much larger ones. Some I have require dosbox to run properly.

 

I've been looking for that "oldskool" ASCII demo, I still can't find it!
