9800Xt - 720i/1080i upscaling to my LCD TV - HOW?

    Me using 9800Xt with my 32" LCD TV, now i wana know how to enable upscaling..... how to confirm the same....

    Also, when i play DVD's i get a lot of grains.... is it normal ?

    Upscaling is a software component. It will be natural for a lower resolution DVD to look a bit grainy on a HD display. You CAN however, use software upscaling to slightly improve the picture. I recommend using FFDshow's "Multiply by" setting to enlarge the video for the HD display.

    Keep in mind, an 'upscaling' DVD players are simply programmed to do 1 method of upscaling, but on your computer, you can try a number of methods and see which one you like better. (as seen in post #4 on the above link).
