Try this. I am not sure whether you have Spybot's Teatimer enabled or not since I have not been reading this whole thread. So I will just assume it is. You can ignore this if it is not enabled.

    Disable TeaTimer:
    - run Spybot and click Mode and select Advanced Mode. Then click Tools and select Resident. Now in the right window pane, uncheck TeaTimer.

    - Also while this is open, in the left column now select IE Tweaks and then in the right pane make sure all the Miscellaneous locks are unchecked.

    Now quit Spybot!

    Do you still have problems?

Did you run the deldomains.inf script that BJ suggested in message # 35?

    Hi,

Yes I tried that but just to be sure I just did it again with no luck. This is a tuff one huh?

Please explain exactly what you meant by:

What is it that you are doing when you get this?

What I meant was, after all I've tried so far I still have the problem I started with. Ya know on the bottom of the IE window, where you can see the address of a link when you mouse over something? When I go into a listing on e-bay, than click "Back" I get a delay and it looks like this: http://www.mcd4x4.com/abadurl.htm

All that link shows is a gif file: http://pics.ebay.com/aw/pics/commdev/communityHub_468x60.gif

Are you sure you do not have any of ebay or doubleclick.net in your restricted zone?

What path are you at just prior to click "Back"? I still don't see what your problem really is other than something possibly restricting you in your settings. Is this the only time you have a problem like this? Have you flushed your cache?

    HI,

Do you see in the link, it has A bad URL http//ebay.doubleclick.net/ at the begining? When I go to a page with listings on it, go into one, than click back to get back to the page with all the listings on it, I get this in the front of whatever "should" be there. I have a laptop and this does not happen on there. Try it and see if you have it. Heres a link to a page of listings:http://toys.listings.ebay.com/Moder...QQfromZR11QQsacatZ2619QQsocmdZListingItemList Now if you go there, than click on any listing, when I back out of any one, I have a delay and it slows it down just enough to see the link at the bottom with A bad URL http//ebay.doubleclick.net/....etc..

Yes! I see the same very brief "Bad URL". But as soon as I run the DelDomains script (that we asked you to run) the "Bad URL" goes away because the items in the Restricted zone are no longer interferring.

Let me ask ya, when I click install with the DelDomains, should anything happen? What happens here is the hour glass comes up for a second and thats it. Sound right?

    Thats all it should do.

And you can check that it worked by looking at your Restricted Zones Sites in Internet Explorer. It will now be empty (which is not what you really want). I do not see a problem with the way things were working. I saw a minor insigficant delay with the BAD URL message and then it continued and worked OK.

Is there a way to put everything back in Restricted Zones Sites in Internet Explorer? Theres no sense is having it empty when theres no difference in the original problem?

I could be wrong but I dont think there is after using deldomains.

Yes, there is. The same way it was put there to begin with. Run Spybot again and then click the Immunize button and then have it Immunize.

    LOL!

I was thinking as in reversing the little script, thats the way I took it from what he said. Didnt even think about "Immunize" lol

Why do you thing that didn't work for me? Is there a different one for different OS's?

No, I didnt think about using Spybot's Immunize feat. to put the entries back. I thought you were asking if the script could be reversed to bring them back.

    BJ,

I don't think MCD4x4 was referring to re-Immunizing. I believe the question is in regards to why running DelDomains did not resolve the BAD URL like it did for me.

I asked about this on the e-bay power seller forum, there are other people with this problem. E-bay customer service won't answer the question at all. I guess I'll live with it. Thanks for all the help guys.

MCD4X4, I see the same behavior when I am on ebay and my Ad-aware picks it up regularly! Thank goodness that it is only annoying and not disableing.... Should ebay ever respond to your complaint, don't forget to post back!
    Cheers!
