A Call To Gamers

I just want to say I'm sucha' die hard fan and user of MajorGeeks.com and for what she represents!
To me, MajorGeeks.com is all about helping each others in order to grow and gain information and further explore our great geekware as it is a right, not a privilege. This site has been used in my family of geeks and has been passed down to me from not only family, but ELDER GEEKS from FILEDUDES.COM

I have grown and gained great knowledge from all you geeks. crap, as I type, 3 machines are at 100% load grinding folding@home for the great TEAM 12072! You guys are my team, and I take great pride in representing the great MajorGeeks name! With that being said along with a joyful heart, Me and my best friend (noprob) who has been following you guys since late 90's/early 2000's humbly and respectfully ask for approval of a bit of a fun idea. We love gaming. We really want to take that great name MajorGeeks.com and take it into battle with us across the solar system of Destiny 2 or on the front lines of Call of Duty. etc.

Even though we have always used "MG" as a clan tag for games over the years. (We can't help ourselves, we love MG) I still wanted to get this okayed. Because most gamers here on PC and even on consoles use the program Discord for communication and is very similar to Xbox Live and PlaystationNetwork. We really wanna do that for MajorGeeks.com. but, I'm unaware nor can I find there being any official MG Discord server or gaming community. I'm sure, I'm not the first on this topic. but, Me and noprob are the guys for the job! We could to create a Discord server not only for gamers, but all the Geeks in general. We've been with you far too long to disappoint you now!

(Unless, if it has already been done.. we just want to be a part of We want to at least discover or help create this idea into existence either way.)

The whole idea of this is the same exact idea of the foundation of this great website itself!
To help all. Not only to help them in the game, but help them with their actual machine, to help them get up and running. (if they ever hit that bump down the road.) Or simply just having an awesome place to download their favorite software safely. With such unique great people here at MajorGeeks.com I could only imagine what we, if ever a gaming group/clan we could be, whether small or large.

Me and noprob have pretty much been doing this since 2012 and always recommending all our gaming buddies old ones and new ones to MajorGeeks.com and just always spreading the word.
We just want You, Tim, and everyone who runs Major Geeks graceful blessing on this one.

Thanks for your comment! I've been doing a lot more folding than gaming as of lately but I'm always willing to meet some major geekers in the virtual world in my spare time away from school, work, etc

I was brought back to memories of old, when I gamed online in a clan and met Kodo-San. What fun. Such a blast. He is the reason I am lurking here, all these years later. Those old clan days on Soldier of Fortune were really fun.
