a couple of questions

I had a trojan I picked up from what looked like a youtube file, not off the youtube site, when I clicked on it, it was an 88kb file that loaded on my computer. I started to notice that all malware would not load and my antivirus was shuttingdown. I backed up my computer files and tried to ride the computer of it. Loaded in safe mode and reloaded malware bytes and others to no avail. I finaly did a system recovery with back up, and the virus still came through. I did a destructive restore and it seems clean. I got ride of avg and used avira and it kept giving false positives. I used avast and it seems like it is a better program. I went on to a web site that I had googled asking how to use dvd shrink to back up a movie I wanted. It gave me a warning that there was a virus detected and I got the pop up box "windows has detected a virus" which I had had several weeks before and it was a fake alert to load a trojan. I did not even click on the x in the box I did a task man. and shut down the IE from there. I ran malware bytes and superspycleaner and nothing was found. Is there a rash of trojans and viruses on sites right now?
