a download issue

hello, heres the thing. I would like to download the software for a poker site such as partypoker, 888 or pokerstars. but when i go to click for the download instead of being routed to the usual "run" or "save" window i get directed to the msn liveseach engine with partypoker, 888 or pokerstars as the topic of the search. has anyone had the same problem or know whats happening. confused
I have checked my internet protection settings arent to high and have tried to use system restore to no avail (thought mayby it was something i had messed with earlier). Also thought it could be a hijacker or visus but any searches have been negative.
Any help or ideas would be most greatful.

 

It probably isn't anything wrong with your comp man. They probably want you to sign up or download some other stuff with it.

 

i dont think its that, its not trying to sell anything. it simply redirects me to a search of the poker site and without a download window.
