    Hello Fellow Geekers,
Sometime ago I posted a thread for the best encryption for laptop or desktop computer. And many of our geekers replied. But all of the encryptions that were suggested were software based.
So now, I am here to tell you about a microprocessor that I have found that has a embedded hardware encryption engine built-in. The company that invented it is in Taiwan.

    VIA C3 Microprocessor

I am interested to hear from our IT professional geekers or even our geekest of geekers, if this is a good find or not. Would this be a good microprocessor for my next board??

You don't get much more low budget/performance than that.

Correct me if I am wrong, C3 is short for Cyrix III.

Cyrix is a synonym for baaaad.

    Adrynalyne,
Pardon my ignorance but I do not know if C3 stands for cyrix III. Would that be equivalent to a Celeron in comparison to a Pentium??? But on different manufacturer's scale of quality?
